(New Castle, Del.-19720) On Tuesday (3/19/2024), Colonel Joseph Bloch promotes Master Corporal Jeffrey Sendek and Senior Corporal Christopher Phillips to Sergeant.

Sergeant Sendek began his career in February 2006 and was assigned to the Uniformed Patrol Division. In January 2013, Sergeant Sendek was transferred to the Criminal Investigations Unit- Property Crimes Squad as a Detective, and in March 2014, he was transferred to Major Crimes Squad. In January 2016, Sergeant Sendek was transferred to the Homicide Squad, and in January 2020, Sergeant Sendek went to the Cold Case Squad, and finally, in January 2024, Sergeant Sendek went back to the Uniformed Patrol Division where he is currently assigned.

Sergeant Phillips began his career in June 2012 and was assigned to the Uniformed Patrol Division. In January 2018, he was transferred to the Criminal Investigations Unit- Property Crimes Squad as a Detective and later in March 2019, Sergeant Phillips was transferred to the Special Victim’s Unit where he is currently assigned.
