Scam Alert: Fake E-ZPass Toll Messages!

Scammers are at it again, sending fake text messages claiming you owe unpaid tolls and demanding immediate payment. These fraudulent messages often contain phrases like “outstanding toll amount” and include a link to a fake website designed to steal your personal and financial information.

⚠️ E-ZPass and other toll services will NEVER text you for payment.

If you receive one of these messages:

❌ Do NOT click the link.

🗑️ Delete the message.

📢 Warn others to do the same.

If you’ve received a suspicious text or email, report it to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) at ic3.gov. Be sure to include the sender’s phone number and the website listed in the message.
