(New Castle, DE 19720) Officers from the New Castle County Division of Police are actively investigating a shooting that occurred in the unit block of Lea Road in the Manor Park neighborhood. A visible police presence will remain in the area as the investigation continues.

There is no threat to public safety at this time. However, we ask that residents avoid the area to allow officers to conduct their investigation. Normal activities may proceed as usual.
