Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspect In Convenience Store Robbery

On Tuesday (January 16) at approximately 1:38 p.m., New Castle County Patrol Officers were dispatched to the 7-11 convenience store in the unit block of S Gerald Dr for the report of a robbery. Police learned that the suspect partially displayed a handgun to the clerk and demanded money from the register. The suspect fled into the neighborhood on foot.

During the course of the investigation, detectives were able to obtain additional surveillance photos of the suspect from the store’s camera.
