Police Announce Contest For Students To Meet New Service Dog Nikko

New Castle County Police are currently holding a contest for all schools within New Castle County for a chance to have their new service dog, Nikko, pay a special visit to their class.

The contest is open to classes from kindergarten through third grade.  We are asking for a video(1 minute or less) or an essay (2 pages or less) describing what the students think Nikko does every day as a police dog and why he should visit their class. Up to three winners will be selected and will receive a special visit to their class from Nikko.

Video or essay applications can be sent via e-mail to Hcarter@nccde.org or text to 302-540-7560. Application deadline is May 15th.
